Operation Brave Hearts
"Harnessing Hope and Empowering Recovery through Equine Connection"
At Equine Empowerment Foundation, we understand that committing to a life of service often creates complex challenges that can leave Military Service Members, Veterans, and Emergency Responders feeling disconnected from their families and communities. We facilitate unique, therapeutic experiences with horses that lead our participants to a deeper understanding of themselves, empowering them to cultivate healthier relationships and feel better.
With licensed mental health professionals and experienced, credentialed coaches, we work with Military, Veteran, and Emergency Responders and their families, caregivers, and supporters: individually, in groups, in family units.
We also work with leadership teams, peer support teams, and organizations to create tailor-made experiences designed to improve communication, enhance group cohesion, and provide a unique opportunity for your group to experience themselves through a different, more enriched lens.
With Operation Brave Hearts, therapy is different than the conventional mental health model. The horses are our co-therapists, and they relate with and respond to whomever is in front of them as a unique individual. They can give us insights about ourselves and each other that we might not fully receive in a traditional office setting. We believe that mental health is inseparable from physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and we work with people through that perspective, with the invaluable wisdom of our 4-legged counselors.
