Founded in 2023, Equine Empowerment Foundation has set out to rescue more horses that will help improve the lives of the people in need of hippotherapy in our community in the hope of making a positive impact in both the horses and humans' lives through paired interactions.
Our team is made up of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the world. From our volunteers to our board members, everyone at Equine Empowerment Foundation is committed to our mission and serve both horse and human.

Our mission is to not only give rescue horses a safe and loving home, but to also empower individuals through their interactions with our horses. We strive to educate children and beginners on proper horsemanship skills, as well as teach them the value of hard work and dedication. By fostering a positive relationship between humans and horses, we hope to inspire confidence, compassion, and respect in all who participate in our programs.

At THE EQUINE EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION, our mission is to transform the lives of both horses and humans through a dedicated commitment to rescue, retrain, and repurpose ex-racehorses and other horses in need. We believe in the profound impact that equine interactions can have on individuals, fostering a connection that transcends boundaries and creates a positive ripple effect within our community.
Our foundation is driven by the belief that horses, given the opportunity, can become invaluable partners in human well-being. We strive to provide honorable positions for these magnificent creatures within our community by rescuing them from racing careers, offering comprehensive retraining, and repurposing them as lesson horses. These horses then become ambassadors of equine empowerment, opening doors to horseback riding lessons and hippo-therapy for all members of our community.
